According to the MTF survey in 2017, 71.5% of households in Cambodia have access through the grid, 26.1% have access through off-grid solutions – including 13.2% of households that have access through a solar home system.  Less than 3% (2.4%) of households do not have any source of electricity.  More than 87% of households in Cambodia are in Tier 1 or above.

Based on the MTF survey in 2017, 66.7% of Cambodian households use a biomass stove.  Among them, 35.1% use an improved cookstove, 26.8% use a traditional stove, and 4.8% use a three-stone stove.  One third of households use clean fuel stoves as their primary stove and their most common clean fuel is liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) (30.9%), followed by electricity (1.8%).  About 12% of households in Cambodia are in Tier 3 or above: 6.6% of households are in Tier 4 or above.
